Rainy end to the Weekend...
After a beautiful start to our weekend, Sunday ended up wet and really cool with high only hitting the low 50's across much of the state. Southeastern Oklahoma recieved up to an inch of rainfall which is welcome with the current drought we are in. Oklahoma City averaged about half an inch and rainfall totals continue to decrease the further west and northwest you go, unfortunately that's where our driest counties are located. Here is the current drought graphic:
Another wave of light to moderate rainfall will develop and move through the area Monday mid-day as the remainder of the storm system passes. Monday will be a cool and cloudy day. Wednesday we will return to highs in the 80's!
